ABOUT ZHENYI CHEMICAL FIBER

Built on manufacturing experience dating back to 2007, Zhenyi Chemical Fiber brings together the Weien and Baoyi production bases under an integrated business system. We specialize in the production and sales of polyester DTY, while international trade and customer support are provided by Shoyee International Trading Co., Ltd.

Weien Intelligent Manufacturing (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd. operates the Weien production facility, with a site area of approximately 13,300 m² (20 mu). Tongxiang Baoyi Textile Co., Ltd. operates the Baoyi production facility, with a site area of approximately 10,000 m² (15 mu).

Together, the two facilities have a total production workshop floor area of approximately 100,000 m² and are equipped with 100 draw-texturing machines, providing a combined polyester DTY production capacity of up to 400 metric tons per day. They manufacture DTY in a range of deniers, filament counts, luster types and intermingling levels for customers in China and overseas.

  • What Sets FDY Apart From DTY and POY in a Polyester Range

Zhenyi Chemical Fiber lists Polyester FDY alongside its DTY and POY because the three answer different processing needs. FDY (fully drawn yarn) is spun and drawn in one continuous step, so the filaments leave the machine already oriented and dimensionally stable, with a smooth, straight and lustrous surface. Unlike DTY, it carries no texturing crimp, so it will not give stretch or bulk. That is exactly why buyers choose it for flat, sleek fabrics where a clean surface matters more than loft.

  • Where Polyester FDY Is Typically Used: Weaving, Warp Knitting and Linings

Smooth filament fabrics such as linings, taffeta-type wovens, satin-look home textiles, ribbons and warp-knitted goods are the usual destinations for FDY Polyester Yarn. The straight filament path gives a crisp hand, good sheen and predictable running on high-speed looms and warp knitting machines. It is also commonly used as a base yarn for further twisting or air-texturing when a producer wants a finer surface effect. If your target fabric relies on stretch recovery or a soft, bulky feel, DTY is normally the better route.

  • Reading an FDY Specification: Denier, Filament Count and Luster

An FDY quote should state the full construction, for example denier and filament count written as 75D/36F, together with the luster grade (bright or semi-dull) and the package weight. Finer filaments at the same denier give a softer, more drapey fabric, while fewer, thicker filaments feel crisper. When you ask Zhenyi Chemical Fiber for Polyester Fully Drawn Yarn, sending the fabric use and the dyeing route along with these figures lets the correct item be confirmed on the first reply.

  • Dyeing and Fabric Consistency: What a Fully Drawn Filament Means Downstream

Because FDY filaments are fully oriented, dye uptake depends mainly on how uniform the yarn is from package to package rather than on texturing variation. Mixing lots within one fabric is the usual cause of visible shade bands, so producing a single order from one production lot, and dyeing test swatches before bulk, protects consistency. Elongation and boiling-water shrinkage figures on the test report are also worth checking, since they signal how the fabric will relax during heat-setting.
