ABOUT ZHENYI CHEMICAL FIBER

Built on manufacturing experience dating back to 2007, Zhenyi Chemical Fiber brings together the Weien and Baoyi production bases under an integrated business system. We specialize in the production and sales of polyester DTY, while international trade and customer support are provided by Shoyee International Trading Co., Ltd.

Weien Intelligent Manufacturing (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd. operates the Weien production facility, with a site area of approximately 13,300 m² (20 mu). Tongxiang Baoyi Textile Co., Ltd. operates the Baoyi production facility, with a site area of approximately 10,000 m² (15 mu).

Together, the two facilities have a total production workshop floor area of approximately 100,000 m² and are equipped with 100 draw-texturing machines, providing a combined polyester DTY production capacity of up to 400 metric tons per day. They manufacture DTY in a range of deniers, filament counts, luster types and intermingling levels for customers in China and overseas.

  • "Polyethylene Yarn" or Polyester Yarn: Which One Are You Actually Sourcing?

Zhenyi Chemical Fiber gets inquiries every month from buyers searching for Polyethylene Yarn when the product they actually need is polyester (PET) filament yarn. The confusion is understandable: both are synthetic thermoplastic yarns, and "poly-" prefixes get used loosely across the trade. But the two fibers behave differently in dyeing, heat-setting and elongation, and ordering the wrong one can derail a fabric trial. If your fabric spec calls for texturized filament with stable dye uptake — for weaving, knitting or chenille production — you are almost always looking for polyester DTY or monofilament, not polyethylene.

A quick way to check: polyester yarn specifications are written as denier/filament count (e.g. 150D/48F), while polyethylene monofilament and tape yarns are usually specified by decitex or width and thickness for packaging or rope applications. If your supplier's spec sheet uses D/F notation, you're already in polyester DTY territory.

  • Building a Yarn Solution: Matching Product Type to Fabric Construction

Choosing the right category from a five-line product menu is harder than it looks. As a full Yarn Solution supplier, we find most sourcing mistakes happen at the category level, before denier or color is even discussed. Circular and flat knitting generally call for standard DTY (semi-dull, bright or full-dull); decorative weaving for curtains and upholstery often specifies bright or dope-dyed DTY; chenille and imitation-fur production needs DTY supplied specifically for chenille or crochet processing; and technical mesh, screens or monofilament-reinforced fabrics need round or special-shaped monofilament rather than textured yarn at all.

Getting this first decision right saves a round of sampling later, since luster type and intermingling level are usually locked in once the fabric construction is fixed.

  • What a Complete Cross-Category RFQ Should Include

Minimum information for an accurate polyester yarn quotation.

    Field

    Why It Matters

    Product category

DTY, monofilament, chenille yarn, crochet yarn or fancy yarn

    Denier/filament

e.g. 150D/48F — defines fineness and hand feel

    Luster & color

    Semi-dull, bright, full-dull, raw white or dope-dyed

    End use & destination

Confirms compatible construction and logistics routing

Submitting these four fields upfront, whichever category you land on, typically returns a firm quote instead of a back-and-forth on assumptions.

  • Packaging and Lead Time Basics Across the Range

Cone weight, cone type and outer packaging vary by production line and by category, so it's worth confirming these before mass order rather than after. Sample lead time is usually shorter than bulk lead time, and trial batches can often be arranged even for small quantities. Zhenyi Chemical Fiber's technical team supports process adjustment during sampling, which is the fastest way to confirm a specification works on your equipment before committing to full-container volumes.
