ABOUT ZHENYI CHEMICAL FIBER

Built on manufacturing experience dating back to 2007, Zhenyi Chemical Fiber brings together the Weien and Baoyi production bases under an integrated business system. We specialize in the production and sales of polyester DTY, while international trade and customer support are provided by Shoyee International Trading Co., Ltd.

Weien Intelligent Manufacturing (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd. operates the Weien production facility, with a site area of approximately 13,300 m² (20 mu). Tongxiang Baoyi Textile Co., Ltd. operates the Baoyi production facility, with a site area of approximately 10,000 m² (15 mu).

Together, the two facilities have a total production workshop floor area of approximately 100,000 m² and are equipped with 100 draw-texturing machines, providing a combined polyester DTY production capacity of up to 400 metric tons per day. They manufacture DTY in a range of deniers, filament counts, luster types and intermingling levels for customers in China and overseas.

  • What Counts as Specialty Yarn in a Polyester Range

Specialty Yarn covers polyester products that do not fit the standard DTY, FDY or POY categories because they are built for a particular fabric effect. In this range that includes DTY for chenille yarn, imitation mink and imitation chenille yarns for crochet and knitting, polyester monofilament in bright, semi-dull, full-dull and dope-dyed grades with round or special-shaped sections, and wool-like yarn. What they share is a specific end use, so selection starts from the fabric rather than from denier alone.

  • Matching a Specialty Polyester Yarn to the End Use: Pile, Mesh, Crochet or Wool-Look

Each product family solves a different problem. Chenille DTY is the core for soft pile yarn used in upholstery, throws and blankets; imitation mink and chenille yarns give a plush hand for knitting and crochet goods; monofilament supplies the stiffness and uniform strand needed for mesh, screen and technical fabrics; wool-like yarn targets a warm, woolen appearance without natural fiber. Starting from the fabric you want to make narrows the choice quickly, and sourcing Polyester Specialty Yarn from Zhenyi Chemical Fiber keeps these components consistent across a collection.

  • Why Specialty Yarn Needs a Fuller Specification Than Standard DTY

A standard DTY order can often be confirmed from denier, filament count and luster alone. With Specialty Polyester Yarn, extra variables decide whether the fabric works: cross-section (round or special-shaped) and denier for monofilament, core and effect construction for chenille and imitation yarns, and the color route, whether natural, dope-dyed or to be dyed later. Sending these details together with the target fabric and machine type gives the supplier enough to confirm the correct item without back-and-forth.

  • Sample Before You Commit: How to Evaluate Specialty Yarn Ahead of Bulk Orders

Specialty yarns show their character in the finished fabric, so a spec sheet alone rarely settles the decision. Ask for a physical sample, test it on your own machine or knit a small swatch, and check hand, sheen, shedding and color match under the lighting your customers will use. It is also worth trying more than one luster grade or cross-section at this stage, since switching after a bulk order is far more expensive than testing an extra sample.
