ABOUT ZHENYI CHEMICAL FIBER

Built on manufacturing experience dating back to 2007, Zhenyi Chemical Fiber brings together the Weien and Baoyi production bases under an integrated business system. We specialize in the production and sales of polyester DTY, while international trade and customer support are provided by Shoyee International Trading Co., Ltd.

Weien Intelligent Manufacturing (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd. operates the Weien production facility, with a site area of approximately 13,300 m² (20 mu). Tongxiang Baoyi Textile Co., Ltd. operates the Baoyi production facility, with a site area of approximately 10,000 m² (15 mu).

Together, the two facilities have a total production workshop floor area of approximately 100,000 m² and are equipped with 100 draw-texturing machines, providing a combined polyester DTY production capacity of up to 400 metric tons per day. They manufacture DTY in a range of deniers, filament counts, luster types and intermingling levels for customers in China and overseas.

  • Imitation Mink vs Imitation Chenille: Not Just a Naming Difference

Both styles of Crochet Yarn start from a similar core-and-pile construction, but the fiber processing that follows diverges to create very different surface effects. Imitation mink yarn is processed to create a dense, upright, fur-like nap that mimics animal fur's soft bulk, while imitation chenille yarn keeps a flatter, more traditional chenille pile texture. Choosing between them comes down to the finished product's design brief rather than any difference in base yarn quality.

  • Why Crochet-Grade Yarn Is Processed Differently From Knitting Yarn

Fancy yarns used for crochet and hand-craft applications are typically built with a heavier core-wrap construction than standard knitting DTY, since the finished product needs to hold shape and texture without the support of a woven or knitted ground fabric. Zhenyi Chemical Fiber's Polyester Crochet Yarn is engineered with this end use in mind — pile retention and surface bulk matter more here than the tensile properties a knitting mill would prioritize.

  • Color and Specification Considerations for Craft and Décor Buyers

Because these yarns are frequently used directly in finished decorative items — blankets, cushion trims, toy fur — rather than as an intermediate material for further fabric processing, color consistency across cones matters more than it would for a yarn destined for large-roll fabric production, where minor shade drift is diluted across width. Requesting cones from the same production lot for a single project helps avoid visible shade banding in the finished piece.

  • Sampling and Small-Batch Ordering

Because crochet and decorative fancy yarn orders are often smaller in volume than standard fabric-grade DTY orders, it's worth confirming minimum order quantity and sample availability early in the conversation rather than assuming standard bulk terms apply. Flexible small-batch arrangements are generally easier to accommodate for this category than for continuous fabric-mill supply contracts.
